MMC Welcomes Dr. Kelli Currie
Dr. Kelli Currie to its Pediatrics Department
MMC welcomes Kelli Currie, M.D. to its Pediatrics Department. Dr. Currie is a board-certified pediatrician skilled in general pediatrics, acute and chronic conditions, as well as routine check-ups and sports physicals for children birth through 18 years of age. Her special interests include newborn care, breastfeeding education and support, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Currie is a native of Tennessee and excited to be back in her hometown of Murfreesboro. She completed her undergraduate studies at Tennessee State University, completed medical school at Meharry Medical College, and completed her pediatric residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Her areas of interests include general pediatrics, newborn care, and breastfeeding. When Dr. Currie isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, and crafting.
