Community Involvement
At Murfreesboro Medical Clinic we are compassionate about not only our patients, but our community. Giving back to our community is a part of who we are. Each year we participate in corporate charitable giving, community events, and volunteering across the county.
Our Employee Committee oversees fundraising events and donations made throughout the year by MMC employees. The Committee is comprised of a representative from each of the clinic’s departments. Every year all employees are given the opportunity to vote on three local organizations that will benefit from the charitable giving. This years’ chosen organizations are listed below.
Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Center provides the citizens of Rutherford County with the resources and assistance necessary to effectively deal with the personal, social, and legal implications of victimization of domestic assault and sexual abuse.
Stepping Stones Safe Haven offers both Day and Night Shelter for homeless mothers with children and individual women. However, preference is given to women with children, and guests who have been approved to participate.
Isaiah 117 House provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement. Home currently under construction in Rutherford County.
