Calcifications header
These are deposits of calcium in one or both breasts.  They Are not caused by calcium in food or supplements.  Most are benign, but certain patterns of microcalcifications may be a sign of breast cancer.  Microcalcifications are large deposits of calcium and usually are present due to benign problems such as fibroadenoma or adenosis.
