Dr. Kolisnyk was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. He enlisted in the Army at 17 and attended Villanova University, followed by medical school. Dr. Kolisnyk completed U.S. Army residency in Internal Medicine in San Antonio, TX, then deployed overseas for a time. He returned and trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (Washington, D.C.) as a Fellow in Allergy & Immunology. Prior to his arrival at MMC, he served as the Chief of Allergy & Immunology, and Chief of Medical Specialties at Fort Campbell, KY.
Dr. Kolisnyk currently resides in Brentwood with his wife, two daughters, son, and three dogs. He enjoys college basketball, outdoor activities, home improvement projects, eating, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Kolisnyk enjoys being part of the team at MMC, and providing medical care for residents of Murfreesboro and surrounding communities.
