ABOUT DR. HORWITZ

Dr. Shawn Horwitz moved to Murfreesboro in July 2014 and joined Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and Surgicenter. He started his education at Miami University in Oxford, OH and completed his Bachelor of Arts degree graduating Cum Laude in 2005. Dr. Horwitz then completed his medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH in 2009. After getting married, he moved to Cleveland, OH for residency and completed a general surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital, Cleveland Clinic in 2014. While there Dr. Horwitz was awarded Resident of the Year award twice.

Dr. Horwitz enjoys spending time with his wife Lacey and their two children and loves to travel, play soccer, cycle, read and watch movies.
