Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter is proud to announce the addition of Brittany N. Cook, M.D., to its Ophthalmology Department.
Brittany N. Cook, M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist skilled in Cataract surgery including Refractive Cataract surgery, Toric and Multifocal lens implants, Dryeyes, Blepharitis and Ocular Surface Disease, Refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK, Ocular surface growths including Pterygia, Macular degeneration,Diabetic retinopathy, and Glaucoma. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee before receiving her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Birmingham Baptist Health System and her Residency in Ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center.Dr. Cook completed her Refractive Cataract and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the Eye Institute of West Florida, in Largo, FL.
Dr. Cook is excited to join MMC’s Ophthalmology department and Drs. Frank R. Drowota and Ryan T. Drumright. She is looking forward to serving the patients of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic.
Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog Bella, traveling, participating in church activities, cheering on the TN Volunteers, SCUBA diving, and curling up with a good book or movie.
