COVID-19 Vaccinations at MMC

MMC is proud to aid in the solution to the COVID-19 pandemic by offering COVID-19 vaccinations to our patients and community.

Currently, we have the Moderna and Pfizer Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccines to administer to adults and children over the age of 12. Pfizer Comirnaty is the exact same vaccine made by Pfizer-BioNTech that has been widely administered worldwide. On August 23, 2021, the FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine for ages 16 and older. The vaccine was officially named by Pfizer as Comirnaty, pronounced koe-mir'na-tee.

Pfizer was the first COVID-19 Vaccine to reach FDA approval for adults ages 16 and older. Read more here.

On May 10, 2021, the FDA authorized the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech (now known as Pfizer Comirnaty) COVID-19 vaccine for ages 12-15. Read more here.

Moderna is available for adults 18 and older. Read more about Emergency Use Authorization.
