ABOUT DR RAZZAQ Attracted by Middle-Tennessee's family-oriented culture and amenities, Dr. Asim Razzaq moved to Murfreesboro in 2006 with his family. In addition to spending time with his wife and three young daughters, Dr. Razzaq's interests include photography, gardening and traveling. He has been actively involved in Rutherford County's annual arthritis walks and Murfreesboro City Schools' outreach program for homeless children.
Dr. Razzaq completed his fellowship in Rheumatology from Emory University in Atlanta and did his residency in Internal medicine at the University of Louisville. He is board certified in Rheumatology and a fellow member of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Razzaq was in private practice for nine years prior to joining MMC in 2006. He initiated the clinic's infusion center which provides treatment for Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis and vasculitis.
